Drawing a turtle (a tortoise) is very easy. To make this process clearer we suggest doing it step by step. Each step is accompanied by photos and videos. This simple way of drawing is suitable even for those who are only beginners in the art of drawing.
Step 1.
We draw an oval or a circle.
Step 2. Hexaeder
We draw another circle or a hexaeder in the center of the previously drawn figure (a circle / an oval).
Step 3. Shell
We draw almost straight lines starting from each vertex of the hexahedron. They divide the circle.ย These lines touch the circumference of the big circle (i. e. the ending point of each line is placed on the circumference).
Step 4. We draw spirals
Let us draw a spiral inside each part of the fragmented surface to show the shell texture.
Step 5. Tail, legs, head
Let us draw the tail, legs and the head. Mark the eyes and nostrils.
Step 6. Coloring
Color the drawn animal with colored pencils.
